A Sand Creek High School science teacher has been placed on paid administrative leave after being accused of threatening students.
The action was taken by the district after he allegedly threatened students with scissors and told them he had a loaded gun at home.
Colorado Springs police are investigating exactly what happened. Police say the teacher could face criminal harassment charges. No arrests have been made.
A School District 49 spokesperson says the district is waiting to hear from police to determine what action needs to be taken.
