There will be extra security at one Colorado Springs high school after rumors circulated over the weekend that the school had been threatened.
A District 11 spokesperson says the rumor, which involves Mitchell High School, has not been substantiated, but the district is taking every precaution anyway.
Besides the usual security personnel, there will be extra police officers at the campus Monday.
A letter will also be sent home to parents.
