Torey Kuznicki, a teenager who shot and killed a man in Pueblo West during the summer of 2010, was sentenced Friday. He will spend 40 years behind bars after previously pleading guilty to the crime.

Kuznicki will get credit toward that sentence for the 399 days he already spent in jail.

The 40 year sentence is the maximum allowed under the plea deal agreement that dropped the charge from first to second degree murder.
