Teen Killed In Pueblo Rollover

A 17-year-old who was killed after being thrown from his truck as been identified.

Police say Antonio Michael Martinez was driving eastbound on the Highway 50 bypass, north of Norwood and Troy in Pueblo, at 4 a.m. when he drifted into a ditch and rolled his vehicle. Martinez was not wearing a seat belt.

Officers were unable to find any occupants immediately after arriving on scene, but Martinez' body was found a short time later.

Police believe speed and alcohol were factors in the crash, though the investigation is still ongoing. An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday afternoon. The teen's identity has not been released pending family notification.
