Pueblo police were able to coax a man with a gun out of a house after an early morning standoff.
Neighbors were allowed back into their homes early this morning as the suspect John Gow surrendered.
It happened on the 700 block of West Adams Ave in Pueblo. That is off Lincoln Street between Prairie and Abriendo.
Police say it started around 3 a.m. with a call about a suspicious man and vehicle in the area.
Police say the officer that responded recognized Gow as a man wanted in connection with several home invasions and burglaries. Gow ran into a random house and didn't come out until after 7 a.m.
The homeowner was able to escape unharmed, but neighbors on either side were evacuated as a precaution.
Gow was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Police have not said what charges he could face.
