An 18-year-old says she may have narrowly escaped an abduction attempt outside her home in Pueblo.

It's the second attempted kidnapping reported in two days.

According to police, the teen was checking the fluids in her vehicle when she noticed a truck speed past her. The girl told police that the truck then turned around and very slowly started to drive back towards her house. The driver pulled up close to her and asked if she wanted to go for a ride with him. When the girl told him to leave, she says he started to get out his car in a manner that made her fear he was going to grab her. She ran away and he drove off.

The incident happened around 8 p.m. at a home on the 1900 block of West 11th.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his early 30s, dark-colored eye and a distinct tan line from wearing sunglasses. He was reportedly wearing a white t-shirt and black baseball cap at the time. The girl told police he spoke with an accent.

The suspect vehicle was described as a "dually" type truck with four rear tires, two full-sized doors and tinted windows.

Police say the suspect description is similar to the one from the attempted abduction of a 13-year-old girl on Monday. Read about that incident by clicking here.
