A school bus was involved in an accident Wednesday morning when a pickup truck driver did not yield the right-of-way, according to information from Pueblo City Schools.
The incident happened around 8 a.m. on Division Street near Cypress, close to the St. Mary Corwin Hospital.
The pickup truck didn't give right-of-way as the bus was about to pick up students at the bus stop. The truck hit the front of the bus.
There were 15 students on board the bus at the time and six more students were waiting at the bus stop. Luckily, no students were injured in the crash.
Emergency crews did respond to the crash, and both the pickup truck and the bus had to be towed.
Students, according to a school spokesman, were bused to Roncalli Middle School by a replacement bus.
No word on whether or not the driver of the truck was injured or if he faces charges.
