After a surveillance photo helped police to identify a suspect in a Pueblo pharmacy robbery, the suspect was arrested as he tried to pick up a female who was being released from the Chaffee County Jail.

According to police, the suspect got away from the Safeway at 617 W. 29th St. with two bottles of oxycodone on Monday. He told the employees that he was carrying a gun.

According to Pueblo police, the man in the surveillance photo was identified as Eric Dean Manley. The identification was made by a detective of the Chaffee County Sheriff's office who saw the photo in the media.

The detective was also able to tell Pueblo police that Manley was expected to pick up a female inmate from the jail. At about 4:15 p.m. on June 6, the female was released and Manley was taken into custody for the robbery.
