A Pueblo woman is seriously injured after a hit-and-run Thursday put her in the hospital. Pueblo police are looking for the driver involved.
Thursday evening, 23-year-old Reann Gallegos spun out of control while driving northbound on I-25. A second driver, Natasha Santos, also lost control as she came upon the accident scene, at I-25 and Abriendo, and struck Gallegos’ jeep. When Santos got out of her car to check on Gallegos, she was struck by a third vehicle and pinned between her Audi and Gallegos’ jeep. The third driver left the scene immediately, leaving Santos trapped between the two vehicles and seriously injured.
Santos was taken to Parkview hospital. There is no update at this time on her condition. Police are asking that anyone with any information about the driver involved in this hit-and-run call Pueblo Crime Stoppers at 542-STOP.
