The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office is searching for three suspects involved in an early morning armed robbery on the far west side of Pueblo.
Deputies responded to the scene on the 5200 block of Nature Center Road just before 2 a.m., where they found the 20-year-old victim. The victim told deputies that two men roughly around the same age stole his wallet while carrying a black handgun. The victim lost $48 in the robbery.
Both suspects have been described as Hispanic and between 18 and 20 years old. Both have also been described as having thin builds. The suspect holding the gun was wearing either baggy blue jean shorts or basketball shorts. The other suspect was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and had a “half sleeve” tribal tattoo on his right arm from his elbow going up to his shoulder. Both suspects were wearing dark colored sweatshirts pulled up to cover all but their eyes and forehead.
The victim’s green backpack and fanny pack were also reported stolen; deputies found both on the side of the road on West 11th Street, but the wallet, which had been in the fanny pack, was gone.
Anyone with any information is asked to call Pueblo Crime Stoppers at 542-STOP or call the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office.
