Police officers in Pueblo are investigating an attempted kidnapping.
It happened Tuesday night around 9 p.m.
A 27-year-old woman was running near Morton Elementary School on 31st Street when she noticed a white truck.
The truck was circling the block and went around twice before driving right next to her as she was running.
The victim says there were two men in the truck. The driver tried to talk to her, but she didn't answer.
The truck then drove past her, stopped and the driver door opened.
The woman took off running to a nearby park at 31 Street and Colfax Avenue and hid while the truck drove around the park.
She called someone on her cell phone to come pick her up.
The woman told police she noticed a similar truck a few days ago, while she was walking near Morris and Kachina.
The truck is described as an older model, 2-door extended cab. It has dark tinted windows and chrome bumpers, which sit low to the ground.
The driver is a dark-skinned Hispanic man in his mid-30s. He has a bald head, a thin, dark mustache and was wearing a dark plaid shirt. The passenger is a Hispanic man in his 20s. He has short hair and was wearing a white shirt with dark letters on the front.
