Two armed robberies occurred in Pueblo over the course of three days. Both happened in busy stores, now police are looking into whether or not they are connected.
The Walgreens on Northern Avenue on Pueblo's southside was robbed at gunpoint on Friday night, during a busy time according to employees.
Surveillance video shows the thief coming into the store, talking to customers while waiting in line, and then robbing the clerk. Near the end of the robbery a customer walks up behind the thief and gets in line.
The thief got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. The robbery happened at about 7:30 p.m.
Two days later, on Sunday just after 8 p.m. someone robbed the Walgreens on Bonforte Blvd. near Highway 50. A gun was also used in this hold-up.
The thief went to the pharmacy and demanded pills. He got away with 15 bottles of prescription drugs.
Police are investigating if the two robberies are related.
