Police believe surveillance images released Friday could hold the key to several recent crimes in Pueblo.
The surveillance images, taken during a recent robbery at a Western Convenience in Pueblo, show a man who police believe is responsible for other criminal activity in the area.
During the Western Convenience robbery, which occurred at 11 p.m. on Jan. 17 at the 3201 Lake Ave. location, police say the suspect approached the counter and asked the clerk for four cartons of Marlboro cigarettes. After the clerk brought the cartons to the counter, the suspect snatched them and ran out the door. He warned the clerk not to chase after him because he had a gun.
The suspect is described as being in his early-to-mid 20s, between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8, and weighing between 130-140 pounds. He had brown hair, brown eyes, and a light mustache. He is seen in the surveillance photos dressed in all black. His black puffy coat had a white emblem on the left chest. He reportedly had a tattoo on the right side of his neck.
Police say he left the store in a white 4-door sedan, and drove away eastward towards I-25.
The Pueblo Police Department have not elaborated on what other crimes they believe this suspect committed.
If you have any information on this crime, you are asked to call the police department at 719-553-2502 or Crime Stoppers at 719-542-STOP.
