In Pueblo, police have arrested a woman wanted in connection with a motel stabbing in Wheat Ridge, a suburb of Denver.
On Monday, April 1 at 9:45 p.m. police responded to the Motel 6 on the 9,000-block of West 49th Avenue. When officers arrived they say they found the victim - a man in his mid-40s - with life-threatening stab wounds.
That man is still at St. Anthony's Hospital where officials say his wounds are so severe that he cannot assist with the investigation.
On April 3, detectives received a tip that 25-year-old Kyra Munford, of Thornton, was in Pueblo. Pueblo Police found Munford when they located the victim's missing silver Jeep Cherokee.
Wheat Ridge detectives arrested Munford and transported her back to Jefferson County where she is charged with suspicion of criminal attempt, first-degree murder. She is in jail with a $250,000 bond.
