Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle, Seriously Injured

Pueblo Police officers say the male victim was struck around the 1100 block of Highway 50 Frontage Rd. eastbound around 1:58 AM on January 31.

The victim has been transported to Parkview hospital with serious injuries.

The auto/pedestrian accident is under investigation. Police say alcohol and drugs are being considered factors.

    Maybe people should be more sensitive when making comments...this man is a part of my family, and is now in intensive care fighting for his life. I'm sure you're perfect Mr. X and you haze never made a bad choice in your life so you have every right to judge, but some of us are human and make mistakes like crossing the street while walking home when there's a drunk driver on the road. Thanks for the prayers and good thoughts in a difficult time. I hope you kids or siblings never make a mistake like crossing the road. Go to hell

    another one bites the dust. hey aLL you AH that walk across the street without looking,,,,kaboom ur a@@ outta be hit! everyone takes for granted i can just walk across the street n i won"t get hit. IDIOT! THIS IS JUST IF THIS IS THE CASE...how else can you get hit unless the vehicle goes off the road, or you are stupid like i said earlier...

    I think it is best to be light on details until the correct facts are presented. Other stations jump in and report incorrect information alot. Great job KKTV.

    I know you folks are always in a fight to see who can get the story out first, but really, you're always light on details, maybe because of that? Couldn't you get some witnesses to talk to you? Was the ped in a crosswalk? Was the car speeding? Run a light? Who do the cops suspect was under the influence?
