The Pueblo County Coroner has identified the woman killed Tuesday while crossing I-25.
She's been identified as Sandra Bobian, 57, of Pueblo.
Police say the woman was walking across I-25 when she was hit by a car. The force of the impact threw the victim several feet and she died at the scene.
The accident happened late Tuesday morning in the northbound lanes of the interstate at the intersection with Highway 50 east.
The driver of the car was not hurt. The driver has not been charged.
Bobian was not carrying any identification so the coroner used her fingerprints to identify her.
Because she had no ID police thought she may have been homeless, but that was not the case.
