A fire in a Pueblo West home blazed out of control for more than an hour before firefighters were able to the upper hand. While no one was seriously injured, the mobile home sustained serious damage.
One resident, a 64-year-old man, was sleeping on the couch when he woke up to the smell of smoke. The man told authorities he noticed that the back of his home was on fire. He was able to escape to a neighbor's home to call 911. He had to be treated for smoke inhalation, but firefighters say he has since been released.
The investigation is still in the early stages. Keep checking this story for updates.
