A Pueblo man was intentionally struck by a pickup truck and then assaulted early Thursday morning, according to police.
Officers are now seeking the public's assistance in locating the suspect.
Witnesses tell police that the victim was originally riding in the truck, but got out in front of the Double Deuce lounge on the 200 block of West Northern Avenue. The pickup truck began following the victim after he crossed the street and began walking towards the bridge. The truck rammed into the victim, then the driver climbed out and began assaulting him.
After the assault, the driver left the area heading eastbound on Northern.
The suspect has been described as a tall, muscular black man. The vehicle was reportedly a black single-cab, full-sized Ford pickup with a white toolbox.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Pueblo Crime Stoppers at 719-542-STOP.
