A local family is desperate to find a missing man.
Authorities are asking for everyone to keep an eye out for 26-year-old Thomas Cook. Thomas is described as biracial, 5-foot-8 and 180 pounds.
We're told last August he left his father's house in Pueblo West after they had an argument, but he didn't take his wallet or anything else with him. His family hasn't heard a word from him since. He told them he was moving to Kansas, where he used to live.
The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office has been in contact with law enforcement in Kansas for the past several months, but there has been no sign of him in either state. A spokesperson with PCSO says Thomas hasn't been contacted by law enforcement anywhere else in the country.
Investigators say they had hoped Thomas would contact his family on his own, since he is an adult, but now that many months have gone by without any word, the sheriff's office is hoping the public can assist in this case.
If you know where he is, call the sheriff's office at 719-583-6250 or contact Det. Williams, the lead detective on the case, at 719-583-4856.
