After the armed robbery of a florist shop in Pueblo was caught on tape, police are asking for help finding the man responsible.
Police report the Flowerama located at 1244 Lake Ave. was robbed at approximately 4:41 p.m. on July 15. According to witnesses, the male asked the clerk for change and handed over a $20 bill. When the register opened, the suspect pointed a semi-automatic handgun at the clerk’s head.
He said something along the lines of, “give me all the money, or I’ll put a hole in your face.”
The suspect grabbed some money and ran out of the store. Witnesses saw him enter the passenger side of an older model black Kia Optima. The car was parked in an alley behind the business and had a temporary tag. It drove away, going northbound on Lake Avenue.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 30 or 40 years old. He is about 5-foot-8 and weighs an estimated 200 pounds. He has a shaved head, dark mustache and tattoos on his right arm. He was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, light colored shoes and big sunglasses.
Anyone with information about this armed robbery is asked to call Pueblo Crime Stoppers at 542-STOP (542-7867).
