Investigators shut down a fireworks business in Pueblo after observing the sale of legal and illegal fireworks there.
The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office says their investigators received a tip about Big Top Fireworks on July 3 at approximately 1:50 p.m. The business is located at 1400 Santa Fe Dr. in Pueblo.
They investigated and announced they had shut down the business on July 3. The Sheriff’s Office says they are working with the Tenth Judicial District Attorney’s Office to file charges.
A Stage II fire ban was initiated by Sheriff Taylor on June 25.
