Pueblo Driver Slams Into House Porch

Pueblo police say a woman drove through a yard and slammed into a house porch.

Just after 1 p.m. Tuesday, police say a woman ran a stop sign and tried to make a left-hand turn while she was driving too fast. She lost control, hit a parked car and then drove onto a yard on the 1600 block of E. 8th Street. The driver hit a support beam on the patio.

The driver reportedly got out of the car and tried to run away until a neighbor chased her down.

Police tell 11 News that they found a gun in the car. They also say speed was a factor.

The driver has been ticketed for careless driving and driving without a license.

The name of the driver has not been released.

They should put her into jail just for not having a drivers license. I wonder how many people are driving around out there with no license at all? I know many people have no insurance why not no license either it all goes onto one ticket that way. When your license plate tags come due just yank current ones from another car that way all a driver ever needs to buy is gasoline. Right?

Yip, that's what texting does for one grammar, English, and writing. Also the lack of written tests in school. More's the pity.

Hey Jim! Good point on the "near miss" except the driver actually hit the patio support beam so they kinda hit the house but didn't! A dangerous idiot in any case!

so she actually hit the house? if she nearly missed it, she hit it. if she NARROWLY missed it, she missed it. are 'news' organizations simply farming this stuff out to under-performing primary schools?
