A short circuit is being blamed for a power outage that left parts of Pueblo in the dark for about two and a half hours.
The outage began around 1:00 p.m. and Black Hills Energy says they restored power to about 600 of the affected customers within approximately 50 minutes. An additional 1,000 or more customers were without power for a total of approximately two hours.
The outage impacted both residential and commercial customers in an area west of Fountain Creek and east of Fortino Blvd.
