PUEBLO, Colo. On Wednesday night, the Pueblo City Council met with the city's Planning and Zoning Commission to discuss recreational pot.

The point of the meeting was to help Planning and Zoning draft a new ordinance.

Currently, the growing, manufacturing, testing and retail sale of recreational pot is not legal in the city of Pueblo. However, the city council is interested is learning more about how growing, testing and manufacturing would work in Pueblo. Council says they aren't ready to allow the retail sale of recreational marijuana.

There was no vote at Wednesday's meeting. We'll let you know what they eventually decide. City Council is expected to vote to extend the current moratorium on the growing, manufacturing, testing and retail sale recreational marijuana in two weeks. That moratorium will end March 31st.
