Central High School in Pueblo is no longer on lockdown.
The school was placed on a lockdown as a precaution around noon Monday due to an internal investigation inside the school.
Police tell 11 News that there was a rumor about a gun in the school, but that no gun was ever found.
The district stresses that no one was ever in any kind of danger.
