A car being towed behind a camper caught fire this morning on I-25 near Pueblo West.
According to our reporter on the scene, the fire is now out but traffic is still moving slowly on the interstate. That's northbound I-25 near milemarker 116 near an exit for a Frontage Road.
The car was reportedly being towed when it caught fire suddenly. No one was in the car at the time and no one in the camper was injured.
The fire did briefly spread to some brush along the side of the roadway after the camper pulled over, but crews were able to extinguish the fire.
One lane of traffic was closed, but all lanes are open as of 11:20 a.m.
State Patrol responded to the incident.
