Starting Tuesday, CDOT will host the first of two meetings in Pueblo to get input over improvements to U.S. 50 West.
The first meeting will be held Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the Pueblo West Public Library, on 298 S. Joe Martinez Boulevard, in meeting rooms A and B. A presentation will be held at 6 p.m. Projects plans to address transportation needs on the highway, short-term and long-term improvements, environmental impact from projects and safety issues will all be among the topics discussed at the meetings. CDOT is seeking input from Pueblo citizens to know what options the community prefers.
There will be another meeting held on April 7 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. That meeting will be held at Centennial High School on 2525 Mountview Drive. Those who attend the Thursday meeting are told to enter the school by the flag pole.
