A bomb squad was sent into a downtown Pueblo parking garage after a woman found dynamite and brought it to the Police Department.
Police say the woman left the explosives in her car, parked in the garage at 100 South Main Street. The dynamite was taken away in a Sheriff's Department vehicle. It will be destroyed at a shooting range.
The area around the 100 block of South Main was blocked while the bomb squad worked. It was reopened late Friday morning.
Deputy Police Chief Troy Davenport says the woman will not face charges, saying her heart was in the right place and thought bringing the dynamite to the Police Department was the thing to do.
