Police sent to a Family Dollar store in Pueblo found broken glass and a trail of blood along the floor.

According to a police report, an officer was sent to the Family Dollar at 2001 Troy Ave at 6:31 Monday morning. He found that the glass of the front doors was broken inward by a large rock.

The store was searched, and nobody was found inside. Several small spots of blood were seen leading from the door to the cash register area, where the drawers were opened. The manager reported that the drawers were emptied at closing time the night before.

The store didn’t report any other items as taken or damaged.
