Arson Ruled Result in Pueblo Fire

PUEBLO, Colo. Pueblo Police say arson is the result of a fire investigation at an two story abandoned building. Pueblo Fire responded to a fire at 415 N Fountain around 12:50 a.m., Monday.

Police say 35 year-old Ricky Valdez was resuced from that fire out a second story window. When Valdez reached the ground, Police say he took off running. Valdez was taken to the hospital where he was treated for smoke inhalation.

11 News learned that Valdez has a $2500 warrant for previous charges. The District Attorney's Office will decide whether to file trespassing and arson charges.
