Pueblo police are asking for assistance in locating someone they believe is responsible for an armed robbery last month.

On March 17, the Loaf N' Jug on North Elizabeth Street was held up by a man in a black ski mask. Witnesses say the suspect entered the store around 9 p.m. carrying a gun and demanded money from the cash register.

Once the suspect had the money, he threatened to shoot witnesses if they followed him. He then fled the area on foot.

Witnesses describe the man as 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8 with a medium build. He was wearing a black ski mask, which covered his entire face except for his eyes and mouth, a black jacket with a white/light gray zipper and white/light gray broad stripes on the sides with a hood pulled over his head. He was possibly wearing black pants and white tennis shoes.

If you have any information on this incident you are urged to call Pueblo Crime Stoppers at 542-STOP (7867).
