The former director of the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk will be the next interim city manager for the City of Pueblo. He was appointed to the position Monday.
Last week, a special session of the Pueblo City Council selected James Munch as one of the two final candidates for the position. He'll take office on June 25.
Munch will serve for about 4 months until a full-time city manager can be found.
The other finalist was Mark Lovin, who is currently the Aviation Director.
Jenny Eickelman is currently serving as interim city manager. The former city manager, Jerry Pacheco, resigned in the wake of a hit-and-run accident.
