One man was arrested after an acquaintance reported she found some of her property that had been stolen in his garage. That's according to Colorado Springs police.

It happened at Dunston Street and North Chestnut Street. That is south of the intersection at Garden of the Goad Road and Chestnut on the west side of Colorado Springs.

Police say as they were arriving at the scene, the suspect showed up. After a foot chase through the neighborhood, he was arrested.

Police did not say if the suspect was arrested in connection with the alleged thefts, or for some other reason.

Police say they searched the rest of the garage where the reported items were allegedly found.
