An exclusive exhibit of the works of Vincent Van Gogh has closed in Denver after a 40-hour marathon.
"Becoming Van Gogh" closed Sunday after staying open around the clock for its final two days. All tickets were sold out.
The Denver Post reported that the crowd included both club kids and parents pushing strollers.
The show featured both works by Van Gogh, including early drawings, and other artists who influenced him to help explain how Van Gogh developed as an artist.
It took about seven years to assemble all of the works, some of which were loaned by the Tate Gallery in London and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
