DENVER (AP) -- Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper is on a trade mission to Mexico this week, leading a 40-member delegation from the state.
Hickenlooper left Sunday and will return on Wednesday.
The group, which includes agriculture commissioner John Salazar, plans to tour Mexico's main agricultural distribution market. Members also plan to meet with government officials to talk about bilateral trade agreements and how Colorado could help provide renewable energy to the country.
The governor's office says this is the first gubernatorial trade mission to Mexico since 2008, when Idaho Gov. Butch Otter visited.
