Accused King Soopers Robber In Court

A man accused in an attempted robbery at a Colorado Springs King Sooper's gorocery store is scheduled in court Monday morning, August 5th. It will be his first court appearance.

Police say Joseph Grimmig grabbed cash from a register and tried to run, but the cashier put his arms around him and several customers jumped on top of him. Investigators say the customers held him until officers arrived.

The attempted robbery happened on the afternoon of July 28th, at the location on the corner of Fillmore and Centennial.
