Golden Leaves Begin To Dot Colorado Peaks

Fall officially begins this week, and with the onset of a new season comes the chance to see Colorado's trees in full autumn color.

Colorado State Parks has compiled a list of scenic trips drivers can complete in a day, while the Colorado Department of Agriculture lists reports from around the region.

Visit the U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Fall Color Report to check out fall foliage around the country.

You can also call the National Fall Color Hotline to hear predictions about leaf color, foliage peaks, scenic drives and other fall activities. The Forest Service Fall Foliage Hotline telephone number is 1-800-354-4595.
