A Berthoud teenager has reportedly reached a deal with prosecutors in connection with a two-vehicle crash that cost two high school wrestlers both of their legs.
Eighteen-year-old Michelle Berra is due in court this morning. She's accused of careless driving causing serious bodily injury.
Berra was charged after the January 15th crash that injured Tyler Carron and Nikko Landeros.
The two were hit while preparing to change a flat tire on Carron's vehicle.
Berra had pleaded not guilty in July, and was scheduled to stand trial October 9th.
Defense attorney John Chanin filed papers in May alleging the boys had been drinking on the night of the crash, and that they passed several driveways before stopping in the middle of a Larimer County road.
