A couple who had been missing since Sunday in the rugged backcountry of Rocky Mountain National Park are reunited with their family.
Terry and Marion Jones were found yesterday when searchers in a Civil Air Patrol spotted them on the ground, waving at the plane.
Rescuers had been hunting for the couple since they failed to return to their Fort Collins home Sunday as planned. Their son had dropped them off in the northern part of the park Saturday.
The two say they took a wrong turn and decided to stay put when they realized they were lost. They ate berries and mushrooms after using everything they had with them.
The Joneses are experienced backpackers.
