State Fair Livestock Sale Breaks Record

The junior livestock sale at the Colorado State Fair raised nearly $413,000 this year.

That's more than $75,000 higher than last year's total and sets a new record.

The Grand Champion Reserve Beef, raised by Lisa Reid of Brighton, went for $50,000. The Reserve Grand Champion, shown by Tanner Anderson of Eaton, sold for $13,000.

The State Fair is open from 10 a.m. through midnight each day through Monday.
