A tow truck driver involved in a multi-car accident that killed three people is now facing several criminal charges.

Thirty-year-old Cynthia Charlebois has been issued a summons for three counts of careless driving resulting in death, two counts of careless driving causing serious bodily injury, and one count of failure to drive in a single lane.

She's accused of causing a crash on a rain-slick roadway July 4th that killed 40-year-old William O'Neil, his 43-year-old wife, Karen, and their 4-year-old son, Trevor.

Two-year-old Tyler O'Neil survived, and is recovering from a broken leg.

Charlebois is due in an Arapahoe County courtroom October 12th.

She could face 7-and-a-half years behind bars and more than $2,500 in fines if convicted.
