Denver police say a man died Monday after officers used a TASER to subdue him.
Police responded to reports of a disturbance at about 3 a.m. and found a man they said was acting erratically and out of control.
Police say the man calmed down after officers used an electric stun gun on him. He was then handcuffed and sent by ambulance to Denver Health Medical Center. Police say that's a standard practice whenever a TASER is used.
The man, who hasn't been identified, was pronounced dead at the hospital.
