An 180-acre wildfire near Rifle is 85 percent contained, and all residents have been allowed back home.
Rifle Fire Protection District spokesman Kevin Whelan says crews made progress against the fire Saturday, despite being pulled off fire lines briefly due to thunderstorms, lightening and erratic winds.
No injuries were reported.
Firefighters suspect lightning from storms Thursday most likely started the fire.
Dozens of homes were evacuated Friday, when flames destroyed one outbuilding.
No homes have been lost.
