Governor Bill Ritter has made renewable energy a big part of his agenda in his first year in office.
Now he's stepping up with a project of his own. Today workers will install solar panels at the Governor's Residence, where Ritter and his family live.
The panels will be put on the Carriage House section of the residence, which was added to it in 1908 and renovated by former First Lady Frances Owens.
