The wildfire danger remains high in parts of Colorado with the busy Fourth of July holiday only a week away.
In southern Colorado, a fire is burning on over 10 acres in rugged terrain near Canon City. It's expected to be fully contained by this evening.
Officials supsect lightning started that fire.
On the Western Slope, the Garfield County sheriff's office says firefighters have fully contained a 160 acre wildfire that broke out yesterday.
Investigators suspected it was caused by a carelessly discarded cigarette. Twenty-six-year-old Nicolas Hatcher was arrested on suspicion of fourth-degree arson.
