A 39-year-old Grand Junction man is facing charges in Eagle County, where authorities say he traveled to have sex with an underage girl.
Sheriff's officials arrested John Mark Love last Friday on suspicion of enticement of a child, attempted sexual assault of a child, and Internet luring of a child, all felonies.
Authorities say he arrived at a fast food restaurant Friday evening to meet someone he thought was a 14-year-old girl. He allegedly said during Internet and cell phone text-message conversations that he wanted to watch the movie "Ice Age" with her on DVD, then have sex in the sleeper of his semi-truck.
Deputies say Love eventually admitted driving to Eagle to have sex with the girl.
He's being held on $50,000 bond.
