A former child care director at a Highlands Ranch elementary school is being ordered to serve 90 days in jail and spend 20 years to life on probation for child sexual assault.
Paul Jesse Arriola, 31, was sentenced June 4, but the Douglas County sheriff's office released information about the case just today.
Arriola pleaded guilty to a charge of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust.
He had been the director of the Panther's Den Child Care program at Eldorado Elementary School.
Arriola will also have to register as a sex offender.
He was fired from his position in December 2005, a month after school security staff reported a possible incident involving a nine-year-old boy.
