The board that oversees the Colorado State University newspaper is set to hold a hearing today on the fate of its editor.

J. David McSwane published a four-word editorial about President Bush that included an obscenity, prompting many complaints.

The hearing will be held behind closed doors.

The board will decide if McSwane should be disciplined and does have the power to fire him.

A public hearing last week attracted hundreds of students, many who spoke in support of McSwane and his decision to publish the editorial.
