White House Condemns Bombings In Iraq

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The White House is condemning the wave of deadly bombings in Iraq, and says such attempts to derail progress in the country will fail.

In a statement, press secretary Jay Carney says Iraqi security forces have shown they are up to the task of responding to the bombings. The attacks killed at least 69 people across Baghdad Thursday, just days after the withdrawal of American forces from Iraq.

Carney says the attacks, which bore the hallmarks of al-Qaida's Sunni insurgents, serve no agenda "other than murder and hatred."

He says Vice President Joe Biden called Iraqi President Jalal Talabani to offer support for efforts to allow Iraqi blocks to work together, amid a governing crisis between Shiite and Sunni politicians and rising sectarian tensions.

So...here's the Post Script. After 9 years of occupation by US troops, in order that the Iraqi people can live a "safer" life than under the rule of Saddam Hussein, now they've found new and improved reasons to kill each other off. I say, lets leave all the bomb making materials we have left over, out in plain sight, for them to use. If all those radical Moslems want to kill each other off.....I'm all for it! Message to the White House....."Mind your own business, and shut the hell up!" Remember that it was Moslems that caused the changes in our Nation, and my dear President, YOU are partially named after the reason we went to war in Iraq in the first place!

the most efficient way to bring this to a halt is to NUKE the sob's.ragheads, dot heads, masks mf's,,,i could care less.... american troops should of never been sent there or as a matter of fact ANYWHERE in this world to protect people of countries who don't have the gall to fight for their own country. All this starts with the pigs that run this country! us army retired 63-83. yes i served,,,have you?

If Washington expected any different behavior after our troops were gone, they are delusional. Look for things there to get much more bloody and Islamic Fundamentalism to eventually be the overall winner. Ditto in Egypt and Libya. Not reported in the mainstream media here is the terrorism now being inflicted on the Christian populations in these countries. Democracy? Don't hold your breath, It ain't gonna happen over there.

An Al Qaida hallmark moment. Yes, there's distinct difference between Al qaida bombings and just plain old regular bombings. Good grief.
