No one was hurt Wednesday morning when a small aircraft landed in a field north of the Air Force Academy airfield.
The plane could be seen in a field west of I-25 and Interquest in Colorado Springs. It landed around 9:20 a.m. about a half mile north of the airfield on Academy property.
The aircraft had minor complications shortly after takeoff and landed in the field.
An instructor and a student pilot were on board. No one was hurt. A spokesman for the AFA says there was minimal damage to the T53A trainer aircraft.
The incident is under investigation.
